For US merchants, PayPal is currently available in beta testing program. Please reach out to your Airwallex account manager or [email protected] if you'd like to join the beta.

Connected Path - HK, AU, SG, UK, EU merchants

If your business is registered in these regions, you need to set up and maintain an external PayPal account and connect it to your Airwallex account. You will directly negotiate the pricing and settlement terms with PayPal. PayPal transactions will be settled to your PayPal account, not your Airwallex wallet.

*For AU merchants, only PayPal Australia Pty Ltd (“PayPal Australia”) is able to provide the PayPal Services in Australia.

Managed Path - US merchants

If your business is registered in the US, Airwallex offers a fully managed model similar to all other payment methods. Your PayPal transactions are settled directly into your Airwallex wallet, and PayPal disputes are managed via the Airwallex web app or API. You are not required to set up or maintain a separate PayPal account. If you have an existing PayPal account, your Airwallex PayPal transactions are not affected.
