Airwallex allows merchants to accept payments from the major card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, Discover and Diners Club now. This gives merchants the opportunity to reach a huge number of customers who own a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, Discover or Diners Club card. In addition to accepting payments, Airwallex offers a full range of merchant services such as authentication, risk & fraud prevention, acceptance rate optimisation, top-class customer experience and centralized place to enjoy all the other Airwallex products.

Descriptor (what the payer will see in their transaction history)

The payer will see your registered business name as the descriptor. If you would like to change the descriptor on a payment-by-payment basis (also called dynamic descriptor), please reach out to your account manager or support.

Please note that for the descriptor of UPI transactions, only numbers, English alphabets, special characters, spaces are allowed (25 digits max.).
