Airwallex Bonus Program

These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) set out the terms and conditions of your participation in the Airwallex Bonus Promotion (the “Promotion”) operated by Airwallex US, LLC (“Airwallex”, “us”, “our” or “we”). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings given to them in the Airwallex Service Agreement (available at https://www.airwallex.com/us/terms/airwallex-service-agreement), which, along with other terms and conditions between you and Airwallex, govern the use of the Airwallex platform.
Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?
Airwallex makes the Promotion available to “Eligible Customers,” which includes parties:
who are not Airwallex customers at the time of applying to participate in the Promotion;
who take all required steps to apply to become an Airwallex customer;
who satisfy the standards to qualify as Airwallex customers under Airwallex's policies; and
whose registered business address is located in the United States.
Airwallex reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether a party qualifies as an Eligible Customer.
What is the Promotion?
Eligible Customers may receive a discount of up to fifty percent (50%) off (the “FX Fee Discount”) the markup/margin fees applied to spot FX transactions executed via Airwallex (“FX Fees”). The FX Fee Discount provided to a single Eligible Customer is capped at USD $500.
For how long will the FX Fee Discount be available?
Eligible Customers may receive the FX Fee Discount for a period of up to three (3) calendar months after the date of successful account approval and onboarding by Airwallex (the “Promotional Period”).
This discount will not be taken from the FX Fee at the time of the subject spot FX transaction but will instead be accomplished via a monthly reimbursement to you. At the end of each calendar month during the Promotion, Airwallex will reimburse Eligible Customers for all FX Fee Discounts incurred during the prior calendar month (each such reimbursement payment, an “Monthly FX Fee Credit”).
Is the FX Fee Discount capped?
Yes. Eligible Customers may receive up to a total of USD $500 in Monthly FX Fee Credits during the Promotional Period. This cap applies per Eligible Customer and is unaffected by the number of accounts maintained by an Eligible Customer.
When will the Monthly FX Fee Credit be paid out?
Monthly FX Fee Credits earned by you will be added to your Wallet within 30 days of the last day of each calendar month of the Promotional Period.
Are there other terms and conditions?
FX Fees vary based on the currency being converted (the “Settlement Currency”).
You may not use any other promotions, discounts or offers from us in conjunction with the Promotion, unless agreed to in writing by Airwallex. The Promotion does not extend to any customer mark-up/margin or other mark-up/margin that may be applicable in connection with customers approved to make FX Conversions through a Lock FX or Forward Contract (as applicable). A Monthly FX Fee Credit may be reversed if corresponding FX transactions, respectively, are declined or unauthorized, fall outside of the permitted uses set forth by us or our applicable partners (as may be set forth in their respective terms and conditions), or are canceled, suspended, frozen, charged back, reversed or refunded, or if you breach these Terms or any other terms or conditions applicable to your use of your Wallet or Airwallex Account, or the Airwallex Platform (whether with Airwallex or one or more of its partners).
Each Airwallex customer shall be limited to a total of USD $500 in FX Fee Credits, even if multiple accounts or sub-accounts are created.
Termination and changes
The Promotion expires on December 31, 2024, 23:59 PST unless extended or shortened by Airwallex in its sole discretion. Your participation in the Promotion is not guaranteed and may be revoked at any time in Airwallex’s sole discretion in accordance with these Terms.
Airwallex, acting reasonably, may at any time and without prior notice, cancel, suspend, or change the Promotion or any part of it where it becomes necessary to do so. For example, we may suspend the Promotion if we determine that the Promotion is no longer commercially feasible or because it may violate any applicable laws or regulations. Any discontinuation, suspension or change will not affect any statement credits already earned by Eligible Customers.
Further, Airwallex reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or cancel offering the Promotion to you if we suspect that you are using the Promotion, or the Airwallex Platform in a fraudulent or unlawful manner or for a fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
If Airwallex reasonably believes a change to any part of the Promotion will have a detrimental impact on you, Airwallex will provide you with 14 days’ notice of such change, at our sole discretion:
via the Airwallex website;
via the Airwallex Webapp;
by direct electronic communications sent to you.
Privacy & Security
Any personal information that you provide to us will be used in accordance with the Airwallex Services Agreement, and the privacy policies available at https://www.airwallex.com/us/terms/privacy-policy-airwallex , as applicable.
