This month’s releases remove friction from your checkout by allowing your customers to purchase in a single click via their favourite payment method, whilst you save on fees. We’ve also made improvements to our UI so you can keep on top of your financial data easily. Read on to find out more!

New features 🎉

Eliminate friction at your checkout 🛒

We’ve optimised our checkout flow for faster one-click payment and improved the user experience on mobile, so you can deliver an even smoother checkout experience for your customers, reduce basket abandonment and maximise sales.

Let your customers ‘buy now pay later’, with Atome 🛍️

Atome is the most popular buy now pay later service in Southeast Asia and China, with a 20m user base. Now, you can tap into that user base by offering Atome (and 160+ additional payment options) at your checkout with Airwallex Payments.

Atome allows shoppers to split their payments into three interest-free instalments, while you (the merchant) are paid upfront in full. To find out more, speak to your Airwallex account manager.

Improvements 🎨

Save on fees with like-for-like settlement  💸

We’ve added Canadian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars and Swiss Francs to the list of 13 currencies available for like-for-like settlement, helping you reduce fees as you scale globally.  Settle payments directly into your Airwallex Wallet when collecting online payments and avoid FX fees.

Switching to Airwallex Payments just got easier 🔄

Want to switch from your current payment processor to Airwallex? Of course you do. The good news is you can now easily and securely migrate your customers’ saved card data from your old payment processor into Airwallex and continue collecting payments without asking customers to re-enter their details. Click here for more information or contact your account manager.

Customise approval workflows to ensure efficiency and security ✅ ✅

You can now update your transfer approval workflows to suit your business. You might decide that transfers over $100 need approval from your CFO whilst transfers under $100 need manager approval only. Customise workflows your way to ensure your business runs smoothly.

Quickly access and analyse expense data 📊

Export your expense data from Airwallex as a CSV file and quickly access, manipulate and analyse your transaction data.

If you use Xero or QuickBooks, your expense data will be automatically synced with your accounting software. If you use another provider, you can download the data and import it manually.

View card contacts at a glance 🗂️

We’re constantly working to improve our user experience. This month, we’ve updated our interface so that you can quickly see who the assigned card contacts are for each of your Company Cards. Head to the Cards tab on the Airwallex app to see the update.

Upcoming arrivals 🧳

Customisable Employee Cards 💳

You’ll soon be able to print your business’ name on your Airwallex Employee Cards, for an even slicker look. And you’ll also be able to provide us with a delivery address so that we can send you a replacement card instantly when your card expires or becomes lost, stolen or damaged.

Even better transfer success rates 💯

Our payout success rate is 99%, but we want to do even better. We’re improving our validation capabilities to ensure an even better success rate across currencies and countries.

That’s it for our May release round-up. We hope these improvements help you propel your business to new heights.
