Airwallex Singapore Milelion Promotion Terms


These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) set out the terms and conditions of your participation in the Airwallex Max Miles Promotion provided by Airwallex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (‘Airwallex’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’). These Terms shall form part of any applicable agreements (‘Customer Agreements’) governing the use of the Airwallex Platform and Services and shall be construed accordingly. Capitalised terms used below shall have the same meaning given to them in the Customer Agreements unless otherwise defined in these Terms.

By participating in the Airwallex Max Miles Promotion (‘Promotion') and/or receiving the Max Miles, you agree to these Terms.

Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

You are eligible to participate in the Promotion and become an eligible customer (‘Eligible Customer’) if all of the following requirements (‘Eligibility Requirements’) are satisfied:

(a) You are incorporated in Singapore;

(b) You have enrolled in the Promotion through Milelion which runs through its channels, including without limitation, web, email and social media channels and signed up as a new Customer of Airwallex through the dedicated landing page during the Promotion Period;

(c) You have been onboarded by Airwallex as a new Customer following satisfaction of all requirements from Airwallex during the Promotion Period (including completing the onboarding know-your-customer requests by 28 June 2024) (‘Onboarding’);

(d) You have made conducted the requisite Eligible Transactions (as defined below) within 60 days of your KYC-Pass (‘Onboarding’) and within the Promotion Period;

(e) You or your nominated representative are member of the Max Miles loyalty program which is operated by Heymax (Max Now Pte. Ltd.) ; and (f) You are not an existing Customer at the time of enrolling in the Promotion.

If you meet all of the Eligibility Requirements, you may nominate one of your representatives for the purpose of receiving the Max Miles awarded in accordance with these Terms. Airwallex reserves its right to refuse any Eligible Customers the right to participate in the Promotion for any reason.

What is the Promotion?

During the Promotion Period, Eligible Customers are entitled to:

(a) a one-time Welcome Award of 20,000 Max Miles upon following satisfaction of all requirements from Airwallex by 28 June 2024 (including the onboarding know-your-customer requests) (‘Onboarding’);

(b) additional 10,000 Max Miles upon making eligible transactions over SGD$10,000 within 60 days of your KYC Pass date (‘Onboarding’) during the Promotion Period.

How and when will you receive Max Miles?

We will aim to have the relevant Max Miles awarded under the Promotion credited to the Eligible Customer’s designated Hey Max account by the end of September 2024.

What are Eligible Transactions?

‘Eligible Transactions’ means a minimum total aggregate of SG$10,000 worth of transactions including valid and completed foreign exchange conversions, payment acceptance and card payments generated from the use of the Services by that Converted Prospect and excludes any Excluded Amounts.

When is the Promotion Period?

‘Promotion Period’ means the period that commences on May 28, 2024 , 00:00 Singapore time and ends on Jun 19, 2024, 23:59 Singapore time (both dates inclusive).

Airwallex reserves the right to terminate/conclude the campaign any time without any advanced notice.

Is there any cost to participate in the Promotion?

Airwallex does not charge you any cost, fee or expense to participate in the Promotion.

What are some other restrictions you should know?

The issue, redemption and usage of Max Miles shall be governed by Max Miles Terms and Conditions. Airwallex accepts no liability in respect of the goods and services provided by Max Miles or any additional offers which HeyMax may or may not offer.

The Promotion is not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions as may be launched by Airwallex from time to time, unless specified by Airwallex. Each HeyMax account can only receive the relevant Max Miles awarded under the Promotion once.

The Eligible Transactions for the purpose of the Promotion is determined by Airwallex in its sole and absolute discretion from time to time. Airwallex shall not be liable to determine the eligibility of such transactions before they are made by the Eligible Customer.

If any Eligible Transactions are subsequently cancelled, suspended, frozen or refunded such that the relevant Customer fails to satisfy the Eligibility Requirements, the Max Miles awarded will not be awarded. Max Miles cannot be transferred to third parties or other accounts, or exchanged for any other gifts, returned or exchanged for other products with respect to Airwallex.

Indemnification

The Eligible Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Airwallex Group and its officers, directors, employees, advisors, agents, and subcontractors from and against any loss, damage or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred in connection with any claims, actions, demands, suits or proceedings made against the Airwallex Group by a third party or suffered by the Airwallex Group in connection with or as a result of the Eligible Customer’s breach of this Agreement, failure to comply with Applicable Law or the Eligible Customer’s use or misuse of the Promotion.

Termination and changes

The Promotion expires on Jun 19, 2024, 23:59 Singapore time, unless otherwise extended or shortened by Airwallex. Your participation in the Promotion is not guaranteed and may be revoked at any time in Airwallex’s sole and absolute discretion. Airwallex reserves the right to amend these Terms or cancel, suspend or amend this Promotion (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice. Should any disputes arise, the decision of Airwallex shall be final and conclusive.

For the avoidance of doubt, Airwallex reserves the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or cancel offering the Promotion to you if we suspect that you are abusing or using the Promotion in a fraudulent or unlawful manner or for a fraudulent or unlawful purpose or if you are in breach of any of these Terms or the Customer Agreements or any of our terms and conditions you have agreed to with Airwallex. During the Promotion Period, in case of any fraud, abuse, reversal, cancellation or charge back of transactions in respect of which the Max Miles is awarded, Airwallex reserves the right to debit or request HeyMax to debit the relevant amount of Max Miles from the Eligible Customer's HeyMax account without prior notice.

Eligible Customers are required to keep records of their relevant Eligible Transactions. In case of any disputes, Airwallex reserves the right to require the Eligible Customer to provide such records or submit relevant documents or proofs for verification purpose. Submitted documents or proofs will not be returned. The decision of Airwallex regarding the eligibility of the relevant transactions in dispute shall be final and conclusive. In case of any conflict between these Terms and Customer Agreements, these Terms shall prevail.

Privacy & Security

Any personal information that you provide to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In addition, by participating in the Promotion, you expressly consent that any personal information that you provide to us may be shared with for purposes of the Promotion and all related administrative actions in connection therewith.
