Airwallex SG | Level-up Business Grant - Competition Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) set out the terms and conditions of your participation in the Airwallex Level-up Business Grant Competition provided by Airwallex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (‘Airwallex’, ‘Promoter’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’). These Terms shall form part of any applicable agreements (‘Customer Agreements’) governing the use of the Airwallex Platform and Services and shall be construed accordingly. Capitalised terms used below shall have the same meaning given to them in the Customer Agreements unless otherwise defined in these Terms.

By participating in the Airwallex Level-up Business Grant Competition (‘Promotion') you agree to these Terms.

Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

You are eligible to participate in the Promotion and become an eligible entrant (‘Eligible Entrant’) if all of the following requirements (‘Eligibility Requirements’) are satisfied:

(a) You are incorporated in Singapore; and

(b) You have enrolled in the Promotion by submitting an entry through the campaign landing page during the Promotion Period;

(c) You have signed up for an Airwallex business account via the campaign landing page or are an existing Airwallex customer.

(c) Airwallex reserves its right to refuse any Eligible Customers the right to participate in the Promotion for any reason.

(d) You are an incorporated entity and plan on applying to participate in an accelerator, or have received seed or Series A+ funding.

The Prize

1. There will be one (1) winner during the Promotional Period (the ‘Winner’). The prize will consist of a 'Level-up Business Grant' to the value of SG$10,000 , designed to accelerate the Winner’s business growth.

2. 5 shortlisted Entrants will be contacted via email by 30 September 2024, and invited to Airwallex Startup event in Q4 2024.

3. Shortlisted Entrants must respond to the Promoter’s email within 3 working days upon receipt to confirm attendance to our Airwallex Startup event in order to be in the running to win the S$10,000 Level-up Business Grant.

4. The Winner will be announced during our Airwallex Startup event taking place in Q4 2024.

5. 5 shortlisted Entrants who do not win the Level-up Business Grant, will be entitled to Airwallex x McLaren Formula 1 Team merchandise.

6. The Prize will only be distributed in Singapore, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Promoter is not liable for any additional costs associated with the taking of a Prize and any expenses incurred beyond a Prize will be the responsibility of the Winner. 

7. This is a game of skill. The Winner will be selected on or before the Airwallex Startup event date and in no event before 8 September 2024 at the Promoter’s offices in Singapore located at 1 Wallich Street, Guoco Tower, #20-01, Singapore 078881.

8. The Winner will be determined by an Entrant completing the entry form and answering the question in 100 words or less: “How could a $10k grant help you level up your business?”. Entries will be judged by the Promoter based on creativity of answer and demonstrates any of Airwallex’s Operating Principles.

9. The Winner is to facilitate collection of their Prize by submitting an invoice to Airwallex for the grant amount.

10. The Winner is to invoice Airwallex for the grant amount with bank details and comply with Airwallex’s vendor onboarding and procurement process to enable payment processing within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.

11. The Winner must respond to the Promoter’s email within three (3) working days to confirm acceptance and facilitate collection of their Prize. 

12. If the Winner does not respond to the Promoter’s email within three (3) working days, the applicable Prize will be deemed to be forfeited and the Promoter retains the right to select another Winner for that Prize.

When is the Promotional Period?

‘Promotion Period’ means the period that commences on 19 June 2024, 00:00 Singapore time and ends on 8 September 2024, 23:59 (both dates inclusive).

Airwallex reserves the right to terminate/conclude the campaign any time without any advanced notice.

Is there any cost to participate in the Promotion?

Airwallex does not charge you any cost, fee or expense to participate in the Promotion.

General

The Promoter will collect, hold, use and disclose each Entrant’s personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at https://www.airwallex.com/sg/terms/privacy-policy.

 Entrants agree and consent to the Promoter:

• using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, redeeming a Prize and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion;

• using the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and promotional campaigns, in any media including email and SMS, unless an Entrant otherwise withdraws their consent to the use of their information in this manner;

• using an Entrant’s Entry for marketing and promotional purposes, including participating in a case study interview and publishing the content on https://www.airwallex.com/sg/blog.

• By submitting an Entry, Entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, unrestricted, worldwide license to use, copy sublicense, reproduce, distribute, redistribute, modify, adapt, publish, edit, translate, transit, create derivative works of, publish and/or broadcast or display any material or other information submitted by an Entrant as part of this Promotion.

• Incomplete Entries will be deemed invalid.

• The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and Entrants and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the Entry process including the use of any form of automated entry device or software.

• If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

• Any Entrant participating in any activity for the purposes of the Promotion or in respect of a Prize agrees to fully release and indemnify, to the maximum extent permissible by law, the Promoter and their respective contractors, employees, directors and officers in respect of any cost, loss, fine, penalty, expense, damage or liability, whether direct or indirect or consequential, claim for accident, injury or loss of life,  in connection with the Entrant’s participation in the Promotion or a Prize.

• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained to personal property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its respective contractors, employees, directors and officers, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a Winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying a Winner.

Any personal information that you provide to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
