Competition

1. The Promotion commences at 9:00 AM NZDT Monday, 31 March 2025 and closes at 5:00 PM NZDT on Monday, 30 June 2025 (the ‘Promotional Period’) unless otherwise shortened or extended as notified by Airwallex.

2. The Promoter is Airwallex New Zealand Limited (the ‘Promoter’) of c/o Corporate Services New Zealand Limited, Level 5, 79 Queen Street, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand. 

3. Entry into this Promotion (an ‘Entry’) will be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

1. Entry is open to any New Zealand resident aged 18 years or over (the ‘Entrant’) who is either registered with a NZBN or owns a business that is legally registered in New Zealand.

2. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in, or failure in the completion of any Entry.

The Prize

1. There will be 2 winners during the Promotional Period (each a ‘Winner’).

2. The prize pool will consist of:

   1. 2 x $5,000 NZD Grant

      1. or, in the event that none of the above are available, a prize of equal value as determined by Airwallex at its sole discretion.

3. Each Prize will only be distributed in New Zealand, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefits, except as required by law. The Promoter is not liable for any additional costs associated with the taking of a Prize and any expenses incurred beyond a Prize will be the responsibility of the Winner. 

4. This is a game of skill. The winners will be selected on or before Friday, 4 July 2025 at the Promoter’s Sydney office at Ground Floor, 29 Balfour Street, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia.

5. To enter you must complete the submission via the landing page. The Winners will be determined by an Entrant submitting an entry and answering the question: “tell us what conference you would want to attend and how it would help your business grow”. Entries will be judged by the Promoter based on the creativity of the response.

6. The Winners will be notified on or before Friday, 11 July 2025.

7. The Winners must respond to the Promoter’s email within 2 working days to confirm acceptance and facilitate collection of their Prize.

8. Should a Winner not respond with the required information within 2 working days, the applicable Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter retains the right to select another Winner for that Prize.

9. To facilitate payment of the Prize, each Winner will be required to complete Airwallex’s supplier onboarding process and issue a valid invoice for the prize amount. The Promoter will provide instructions for onboarding and invoicing upon confirmation of the Winner’s acceptance.

General

1. The Promoter will collect, hold, use and disclose each Entrant’s personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at  https://www.airwallex.com/nz/terms/privacy-policy#privacy-policy__scope-of-policy.

2.  Entrants agree and consent to the Promoter:

   1. using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, redeeming a Prize and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion;

   2. using the Entrant’s personal information for the purposes of carrying out marketing, planning, product development and promotional campaigns, in any media including email and SMS, unless an Entrant otherwise withdraws their consent to the use of their information in this manner;

   3. using an Entrant’s Entry for marketing and promotional purposes, including participating in a case study interview and publishing the content on https://www.airwallex.com/nz/blog.

3. By submitting an Entry, Entrants grant the Promoter a royalty-free, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide licence to use, copy, sublicense, reproduce, distribute, redistribute, modify, adapt, publish, edit, translate, transit, create derivative works of, publish and/or broadcast or display any material or other information submitted by an Entrant as part of this Promotion.

4. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible Entries will be deemed invalid and will be removed.

5. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and Entrants and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the Entry process including the use of any form of automated entry device or software.

6. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or causes beyond the control of the Promoter or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

7. Any Entrant participating in any activity for the purposes of the Promotion or in respect of a Prize agrees to fully release and indemnify, to the maximum extent permissible by law, the Promoter and their respective contractors, employees, directors and officers in respect of any cost, loss, fine, penalty, expense, damage or liability, whether direct or indirect or consequential, claim for accident, injury or loss of life,  in connection with the Entrant’s participation in the Promotion or a Prize.

8. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and Participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Auckland, New Zealand.

9. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury, including consequential or economic loss, arising from or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law.
