Frequently Asked Questions
Who can enter the eCommerce Champions competition?
Any Australian founder or employee over 18 years, who works for or in the eCommerce industry can join the relay. This includes retail, SaaS, technology, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing businesses.
How do I sign up for the competition?
Submit an entry via our entry platform VideoAsk between 5 Aug and 6 Sep 2024. Be sure to fill in all required fields marked with an asterisk (*).
Is there a limit to the number of entries I can submit?
An individual can submit a maximum of two entries, one for themselves and one nominating someone else.
How and when will winners be selected?
Winners will be selected by our judging panel on between Saturday 7 September and Tuesday 10 September. They will be announced at the Airwallex Beyond Black Friday Event on Thursday 12 September.
What are the prizes and how many winners will there be?
There are a total of 16 prizes up-for-grabs.
Major prize:
1 x $10,000 Business or Professional Acceleration Grant for the overall eCommerce Champion Winner
Other category prizes:
3 x $5,000 Business or Professional Acceleration Grants for the Tech Innovator, Community Hero and Emerging Star
Runner Up Prizes
12 x Airwallex Exclusive Gift Packs valued at approximately $250 each
How long do winners have to claim their prizes?
Winners will have 5 working days from the date of notification to respond to the Promoter’s email and claim their prize. If no response is received within this time frame, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.
What happens if I'm unable to claim my prize within the specified time?
If you’re unable to respond with the required information within 5 working days, you may be considered as dropping out of the race. The applicable prize may be forfeited, and the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.
Can I participate if I'm an employee of Airwallex or its Promotional Partners?
No, employees (including their immediate family) of the Promoter or related companies are ineligible to enter.
These Awards are open to all non-customers, customers and partners of Airwallex, who are legal residents within Australia.
